New Grains requirement

Now this update says we have to spend grains for each attack...

I was building so many farms becuz the grain consumption was so high, then they lowered the grain requirement so I demolished my farms to make way for oil, and now grain is needed more now!!!

It is beta, I know, But I want to complain!!! lol

This way, it is discouraging the attackers again, which makes it to be another SIM City game, so maybe the update we can lower the attack grain requirement by a little bit!!

Plus this huge requirement of grain for attack makes it easier for one player to attack another again and again. If you plunder their grain, they will not have enough left to attack you back!!

It is not our intention at all..Previously, when you attack someone and your troops got away from your base, that will not consume grains, that it to say, you were supposed to eat, but when your troops went to attack, they will not eat. That was a bug. At the moment we fixed it.

Hope you can understand, that is not discouraging, just a bug fixed

what bug are u talking about? my grain consumption never got reduced when I attack someboday!!

Also, since grains are related to the attack time, shouldn't we not be responsible for the grain consumption at base for those troops? this is double-charging. and please lower the grain requirement for attacking!!

No guyz, ths update is gud.....i thnk grain transport refers only to the grain which our troops eat during the travel......evn if thatz not the case

the grain charged is very minimal...

look at the other updates, they r all awesome ....attack time has been drastically reduced .....thnx to the admins for the gud job....

dude I was charged 33,000 grain for one attack!!! I guess my army is too large!!

lol....u r rt......just now tried sending all my troops to a place 3 hrs from me & it charged me abt 48000 grain........expected my grain storage to stop decreasing, but it was still scaling down.... true we are being double charged................

..........48k grain wasted

And also found tht this is based on distance, tried to send the same troops to a guy who is 1 hr from me, the tab showed only 15k crop required for transport .......

of course, you're being charged what your troups would eat if they were still in the base. So if you go for an hour you spend an hour of food. If you leave for 5 hours.. then you spend 5 hours worth of food.

This does end up costing a lot quite fast...

yyishere Tue Mar 17, 09 08:24 AM

Exactly!!! I understand it should cost sth to attack, but not that much!!!

BTW, when our troops went to attack or go away from our base, the grain consumption that deducted from the income didn't reduced back to be like there're no troops stationed anyway.

That's mean we're charged with DOUBLE grain consumption whenever our troops went elsewhere (except they die in a blaze of glory).

I'm thinking Grain charge for sending troops to attack/reinforce other base is better remove. As they've already charged in our income anyway.

yyishere Tue Mar 17, 09 11:56 PM

seriously, bcgamer, if you ask anyone, our grain consumption had always stayed the SAME no matter we are attacking or not..

Somebody must have reported a bug that is not common at all, or this bug is completely bogus!
