Alright here we go..in your bit comet client window click tools, then click options..now click on connection. make sure your global max download rate is unlimited. now set your global max upload rate to 100..now change listen port to 20282..now click apply in the bottom right corner..now look on the left hand side of same window and click on where it says TCP/IP limit..now where it says new half open limit now set it to 300..(you can set as high as 500 however that can cause problems I have found 300 to be a happy medium) after resetting limit to 300 click apply you must now reboot comp for changes to take affect.after your comp has rebooted try this torrent as a test as it has 8,000 seeders http://www.ahashare.com/torrents-details.php?id=9313 aslo go here to check your connection speed http://www.speedtest.net/

make sure you are upload speed is at max and that should increase your speed.

Perhaps I can help put some questions to rest. Regardless of your internet connection speed (as some people have posted their www.speedtest.net results above), what dictates your download rate, with respect to BitComet, is the rate at which other seeders are allowing you to upload at. So, if your Internet Service Provider (ISP) tells you that you can download at speeds of, say, 7.5MBps, you are still slave to what other BitComet users are setting their upload cap at.

Alot of aXXo's stuff seems to come to me at anywhere between 50KBps and 200KBps - SLOW in comparison to my speedtest.net results of 30MBps! Alot of seeders help speed things up, but it still depends on what they have 'capped' their upload settings at. I hope this helps.
