Unsupported resume only means that the host of the file/s you want to download do not offer the ability to to continue a stopped task, meaning that if your http/ftp download stops, you will need to begin again from the beginning.

This won't stop you from downloading, and is not in anyway related to bittorrent downloading.

I have the same problem with "unsupported resume". The download no matter how large ends in an instance with a little more than 100kb. I dont open, try other downloads withe the same result.

This sounds to me like the website hosting the file/s does not allow download accelerators, so they disconnect as soon as they detect multiple connection attempts.

You can try limiting the task to 1 connection, or use your browsers built in download manager.

Here is my recommendation. This assumes your using "FireFox" browser, if your not, you can get it free at mozilla.com.

Go to firefox addon website.

http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/customize/

Find and install the extension "flashgot". This when enabled will launch a menu when any download begins and let you select how the file is downloaded, by either using firefox built-in download manager, or letting bitcomet (or any other download manager you choose) handle the download. If the website doesn't work with bitcomet, simply select to let firefox handle it.

Also, when you start any ftp/http task in bitcomet, your prompted to select settings, among them are the number of connections, from 1 to 20. If the website doesn't support resuming a broken connection, then set this to 1 connection, and it "may" work, but in most cases such a website will disconnect you because they don't like any manager that is aggressive in requesting data.
