Help required, since new bitcomet cannot download:(((

plzzzz i need help form any1 willing to help me...... since i resently upgraded bitcomet and firefox i cannot seem to download anymore its keeps givein me this error

 

''C:\Users\COMPUTER~1\AppData\Local\Temp\The_Spirit[2008]DvDrip[Eng]-FXG.4815604.TPB-2.torrent could not be opened, because the associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preferences.''

 

 what does it mean? i tried changing the file were to download to the same error. i have also tried explorer to the same problem:( i also unistalled bitcomet even the registry got deleted and the same problem. so i gave utorrent ago and it worked like a charm no errors started downloading, but the problem is that ive come acustome to bitcomet, i prefere it more than any other bit programs, plz help me with this dilema,

 

thankfully greatful for any1 with the knowledge...

try reinstalling firefox and see what happens

firstly not sure on how to help but try this link and see if it downloads for you,.

try the first in the list,

and the other thing you could try is uninstall firefox,and use bitcomet see if it works then,.

it could be just how you have it configured in the options menu,.(intergration,)

Well, I had one probleme where I had a similar, or maybe the same, who knows? What I did is of course uninstall everything, if you have trouble, do a search for bitcomet. And then get the 1,06ver of bitcomet the 1,10ver is twichy right now.

And when installing it change the install directory to bitcomet2

It solved almost everything.

if all else fails back up all your files and erase your hard drive and reinstall your programs

if you need registry mechanic to fix it let me know.

you probably didn't uninstall it correctly...not your fault they don't give out that info
