Mpcstar no sound under Windows Vista

I am using mpstar under Windows Vista and it works fine for a period of time. One day it suddenly does not play sound. My computer can play sound by using Windows Media Player.

 

I tried uninstall, reboot, reinstall and still no sound. I am using the latest mpcstar.

 

If I install the same version of sotware onto a Windows XP computer, everything is OK.

 

Can anyone tell me what I can do to fix this?

I have this same problem. Someone suggested playing an swf file with very few other details. This did not work for me. I can get sound from all other programs and websites, but not from mpcstar. Vista SP1 on an HP Pavilion Entertainment laptop.

i also have the same problem. When i update to the latest mpcstar it suddenly happen.. I figure it doesn't have any audio file associated.. Only video file... and i try to reinstall but it doesn't work at all...
