Im on .60, do i need to update?

Hi, i had version .60 for 4 years now. In the past i upgraded and the new versions had all this stuff i want going to use and it didnt download things properly so i had to switch back.

Is there any important upadate that is beyond .60?

Is there any better version but is still "simple" (without all those new functions) like .60?

Version .60 has some important bugs in it, that has caused many trackers to ban its usage, as well as many peers.

I strongly suggest you update. If you want the classic bitcomet, then .70 is the last version of your client, and has some important updates to allow protocol encryption, proper use of dht, and some other important issues.

I strongly advise you avoid .71-.80ish, as they were the beginnings of a major rewrite, and contained many bugs. If you want to try the new client, I would get a recent version. I've been using 1.06 and it seems pretty stable.
