I lost Dev points.... What the Heck Happened

Hi guys, I had about 9000 Dev points this morning. An hour later I came back and I only had 7049. Is it a bug, a hacker, I have no idea. Can someone give me ideas please!!!

Have you been destroying any buildings etc, this could cause it to drop. Other than that I have no knowledge of anything else that would cause Dev points to drop.
