it loads cpu at 45 % , seem there is a problem with handling really huge disk cache size ( more then 300 mb )

i got no the same trouble with prev build of windows seven 7100 ( rc ) but in a new one 7127

disk cache 400 mb gives 40- 50 of cpu usage and 1.4 gb or memory !

now reduced to 300 vm and again 45 % of load and 880 mb !

it keeps my system loaded almost all the time , no any power saving available coz it keeps my cpu running at full speed loading both cores (

there should be no need to use a disc cache so large. 50-100mb is more then enough for even the fastest connections, and keep in mind that disc cache is memory, so a 400mb disc cache requires 400mb of ram to store it in, plus the working space and cpu required by the cache.

In addition, your using a beta version of an operating system which very likely contains many bugs.

uhm , thanks for answering

window seven is almost out , heard they may make it go at the end of this month )

huge disk cache was supposted to prolonge hard drives life , no problems with allocation of 400 mb since ive got 8gb of ram ( thought 6 is pretty much enugh but i cud make it 4 or 8 gb only )

waiting for a new version of bcomet , and i will try to mess with cache to see if any diffrence with cpu usage apper
