I'm new to the "access online sharing system" Finally got a great new PC that is media savvy. I joined bitcomet via a recommend from a family friend, I love this site!!!! However, I would like to know how to burn my movies onto a dvd to watch in my regular dvd player. I set up my windows media (vista) and searched for media on my hard drive. It picked up all the shows I had downloaded. However, I cannot open them through the media player. I then did some researching and downloaded "burning studio 9". However, it will not open any of the files from my pc either. I did burn one dvd but it will only play on the pc and is "not recognized" on the dvd. Apparently it burnt as a mp3 file or some such???? I am totally lost and more than a little frustrated. I hate having to sit at my pc to watch a 2 or 3 hr movie. It's a great 20" flat but hey, I like my sofa and 40" tv alot better.
On the upside, I love this site, what ever all you folks are doing to get it up and doing to keep it up and running, "I salute you!"
If you don't mind, could someone please give me a "HELP" I have done computer work for years and even taken a few basic programming & web set up classes. Yet, all this is way beyond anything I have ever dealt with. Can tell i'm not from the "portable tech age!" Thanks
