HI, Netteura here, I am from the lovely Island of Barbados.
Today June 01 2009 begins the hurricane season, it will be raining more than ever, windy and tropical heavy storms will visit us. But that is the way life is, we encounter hurdles that we must jump over to survive and talk about it. So today begins another chapter on fighting to save our homes, children and lives against the onslaught of the drama that opens before us as of today, this will run until September or October.
God is love and we know that with Him we will ride it through another year.
I do not know if it is ok for me to do this but I would like you all to visit one of our local nespaper site and get aquainted with our life style, culture and art.

We are now in our anual festivities "Crop-Over" its like carnival in other countries. It runs from now to August.
