My Love of 26 years ago just blew me off. She had to do some minor parenting with her son.....had to do with a dance. I am left now with nothing. I am alone, have been celebit, actually being a hermit, waiting. I know now that it will be for nothing. I am destroyed. Still it was worth the chance, the prize was so great. Much like a lottery. I lost. Unfortunately I am left with emptiness, loneliness, heartbreak, and anger. None of which I can communicate to her. Much and better luck to all on bitcomet. One point I must make. To give money to companies as a bailout as they lay off their workers is STUPID. The workers will go on ui, or some form of assistance costing both in the bailout (from the taxpayers) and the ui, or assistance (also paid for by taxpayers). Yes, the Car companies. The banks are the same. Bailed out by the taxpayers as they lay off workers and increase fees. They will do nothing good about those that owe them money.(funny, these people are taxpayers too). I would have assisted any company that would have kept their employees. America will have debt for the rest of time. They won't even be able to pay the interest on what they owe. Too bad there isn't someone intelligent with common sense running america. Too bad that americas mistakes are effecting Canada and the rest of the world financially. Well, it has been a roller coaster ride. A very lonely one. The one that I Love and have for over a quarter century has said she will come to me...but only after her son finishes highschool. That will be two and a half years. I have not sought out any other for a relationship, therefore being alone. It's hard through all the special days, the holidays, where couples enjoy being with eachother. So I wait because the prize is so great. Many would say I am stupid, perhaps I would agree, but my heart must wait for the one that I so love. I will wait for the one that I so love. This is a story only found in books. I hope that it will have a happy ending. Being a romantic is sometimes so much harder than any other role a man could portray. For those who don't know what this is about: 26 years ago I proposed to a woman who I loved. I suprised her with the most romantic evening I could create. When morning came she got cold feet, said no, and fled the province for her home province. I found her......
Contact has been made. We figured out it has been 26 years. Her marriage is empty. We have been emailing back and forth. I have mentioned that I have holidays in a little over a week. I don't know at this time if she wants to see me.........but I think so. We are going over our lives with interest. I am just sitting back .. waiting. We email almost every day. So, my hope live on, for the future, and what we can make of it all. If this doesn't attach to my post, it is about a lost love, someone that I was engaged to, someone that got cold feet and left town.........that left me alone in sorrow wondering what happened. Len
First, Happy Canada day to all. Second........we are now going to become a police state. Does anyone know the status of the new copyright legislation? I know that about a week and a half ago it passed the first round in the House of Commons. Then I heard (not reliable source) that it passed June 12/08. Basically the legislation will stop EVERYTHING that can be done as far as downloading is concerned. You won't even legally be able to rip your own cds to mp3. You won't be able to share anything with your friends. It covers everything from print, audio, vidio in any form. And the scary part is that if you are in a p2p situation you could be fined 20.000 dollars, Plus an extra 500 dollar fine. Yesterday I was under the impression that we would be safe until the fall. I simply don't know now. I have searched the net and there is no up to date info. If anyone knows anything please let me know soon. What does everybody do out of canada? Is file sharing legal? This is extremely important......
Does anyone out there think that it is man that has created global warming 100% by himself? I think not. If you could visit Drumheller in alberta, canada at the Royal Tyrell museum you could see that continents and weather has been changing for thousands of years. Also very few people have even thought about the sun. It has also been changing and has a profound effect on the earth and its climate. Yes we are screwing our planet for ourselves, but unless we unleash all our nukes at the same time....man is but an ant compared to the earth. Then we have predictions of the end of the earth as we know it. Google "2012 the end", it is somewhat confusing but extremely interesting. Also google 2028 astroid strike. I remember when this first hit the newspapers. The scientists published that an astroid would hit the earth. NASA got a hold of them and the very next day they said that it would miss us. Close though about the distance from here to the moon. I don't believe the retraction.......
