Hey everyone! I checked out Charlie Wilsons War a couple of night ago. It is a very intelligent movie with a terrific script that Hanks, Hoffman and Co delivery beautifully. Julia Roberts is sensational as a cross and grumpy yet enternally stunning close friend of Senator Wilson and I think for me, her performance was the most outstanding of many.

   It is a pretty complex film and may not appeal to younger movie enthusiasts but, if you want to get your teeth into a bit of interesting non-fiction whilst still finding time to laugh at some top one-liners then this film is right up your alley.

   I give it 8/10 which is pretty good from me.

Its a new year! Well it is in Scotland at least. Things are the same as normal though - no surprise there. Some good movies to look out for in 2008. I am very pleased to see a new Star Trek on the way, it will be interesting to see Simon Pegg from Hot Fuzz in a Starfleet uniform.

   John Rambo will be kickin some ass depite being a pensioner and will no doubt be blowing numerous types of small villages to sh*t. We all know what to expect from a Rambo movie but this might not be too bad. He made a much better job of his Rocky revival than I thought he would.

   IRON MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im a big Tony Starks fan and I hope this movie will be good. There was a lot of hype before Ghost Rider came out and although it was good i expect Ironman to be even better. Hopefully the media give it enough hype without over doing it so people don't end up dissappointed even if the film is good.

   James Bond is going to be big again......

I aint been doin much last few days. Watchin movies and sport and enjoyin the Christmas chill. Watched DEATH SENTENCE last night and thought it was really good. Kevin Bacon played the role very well and when he shaved his head he looked like a nutter!! To his defence he had every reason to be angry. Can't really blame him as if somebody killed my family I would probably freak out as well. It was really violent but thats not the reason I liked it. I thought the transformation of Bacon from nice happy husband to full blown killer was astonishing. If you have the stomoch for the violent scenes you should enjoy this movie. 8/10

      Going to watch 'No Country For Old Men' tonight. Hope it will be just as good.

Seeing as its Christmas an all dat I have decided to call off all hostilities with the cat. There was one moment on Christmas day when the bitch thought she could get extra turkey instead of sprouts but I growled at her and she went out for a few hours. I saw her later on running up a tree like a total twat - I laughed so hard I had to go outside myself and take a squat!!!!

Nice to see the wonderful Gooners back on track with three points against that wee bit of sh*te Ashley Cole. He gave us two fingers but he also gave us Willie Gallas. Get it right up ya Ash Hole!!!!!

   The so called 'wee' team showed a lot of strength at Blackburn in the 'wee' cup. Denilson went a bit too far but there are some Blackburn players I would like to lunge at too. Its that shower over the road on Saturday - piece o piss.
