Ok so everyones always trying to get the best speed out of there downloads. Well here is your guide to the best speeds possible.

1. Make sure your firewall ports and router are not blocking your B.T. Client *For Assistance See http://www.portforward.com/ and check your firewall manual*

2. Make sure your using Bit-Comet or Bit-Lord (or any other client that supports superseeding) for a info about superseeding visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_seeding.

Currently The Following Clients Support Superseeding:

• Anatomic P2P
• Azureus
• BitSpirit
• BitTornado
• BitTorrent version 6.0
• Burst! (using the shad0w or hurricane cores)
• µTorrent
• ABC (Yet Another BitTorrent Client)
• BitComet
• BitLord

3. Enable Uploading. Superseeding or not your download speed may vary based on your upload (Tracker Dependent if not superseeding)

This is just a basic guide. However i am currently blowing past my speed limitations using Bit-Comet on a WiFi......

So how badly do u want a fast PC?

Ok dont lie everyone wants one

heres the best way to tweak your pc though this may be a more expensive way of gaining performance upping to the newest technology is the top way to upgrade

1. Get DDR2 (Dual-Channel) RAM - Screw that single channel ram imagine a 2 lane highway getting expanded to a 8 lane thats what its like going from single channel to DDR2.

2. Switch to SATA or SATAII - Putting your hard drives on a SATA or SATAII will very much speed up your data transfer rate to your hard drives (this requires SATA ports on your motherboard and a SATA hard disk drive) SATA operates at 1.5GB/s and SATAII operates at 3GB/s.

3. Trash that small hard drive. -  Take that 40, 80, 150gb hard disk and upgrade. If you have IDE/ATA hard drives you can go as high as 750GB if you already have or are upgrading to SATA or SATAII you can go as high as 1TB (1000GB). Currently 1000GB is the largest publicly......

      The Internets a nasty place if your not careful.

But if you think your yahoo is dangerous try downloading 300 files an hour at 1400k and 40 percent being virus infected. Bad torrent eh? maybe its the user? maybe its just you dont have your pc optimzed for bit torrent saftey.

Follow These Tips to stay safe on Bit-Torrent

1. Use an antivirus scanner with realtime scanning. Norton and Mcafee Suck. just stay away. as a software coder i reccomend Avast! Home or Pro for a free copy of Home visit www.avast.com

2. Use a Program To Protect Tracking Sites (i.e. MPAA, Copyright Cops etc)

2. Horrible Cam Shots

3. You Dont Research Your Torrents First

Ok so yea thats why they suck. Ok anyways be sure you get your torrents from good rippers. The best rippers have the best stuff.

aXXo, RELOAD, and PUKKA are 3 of many good rippers.

My preference are those 3 rippers but i use others.

If your not sure how good a video might be look for these keywords in torrent names or descriptions.

DVD-Rip, DVDScreener, or R5

Screeners and R5s are Studio Level Copies promoted by the producers of the movies

Finally Check your Torrent titles against those listed at www.vcdquality.com to see what the ratings and reviews are. (VCDQUALITY DOES NOT HOST THE TORRENTS THEY JUST REVIEW THEM).
