     I'd like to hear other people's opinions on this.

     I used BitComet,bittorrent and utorrent so far and I sticked with BitComet for the good speed combined with a good interface.

It's easy to configure as well and i would give it 7/10 for resource use (mainly RAM). Others like Azureus and such, Java platform clients are notorius for "eating" up your resources with a large spoon.

     So far, I wouldn't change BitComet for another client, because no other convinced me of being {more effective+user friendly+resource efficient}.I've been using it for about 2 years now. The only problems seen so far is a few bugs here and there, like the way the process lags when you open the properties panel................(BitComet 0.98)

     For those of you interested in this thread, I'd be curious to know:

1. How long you've been using BitComet;what version are you using now?

Ok, for those of you interested in how much your hard disk gets full while you download, I've made this table which will show you the amounts of space that you can expect to have full according to your average download speed:

I've asked this b4 and it seems it's quite shrouded in secret and i haven't found a way to see how somebody can see WHO are the highest scorers since BitComet started the points/ranking system?

If U've got any info,pls share it w/ me...

How much do you pay for your internet connection every month and what kind of connection do you have ? (Speed, LAN or WAN)

I'm trying to see the differences from country to country.

I'm in Romania and i pay about 30 RON which means about 12 USD, 6 GBP or 9 € and i have a 3 Mbps (384 KB/s) line on a LAN network connection.

I've been in the US and noticed speeds there are pretty high and 10 Mbps lines are quite common and I've also been living in the UK for a while where they also have pretty decent connections, though a bit pricey.

I'm waiting to hear about your country..............

Anybody have any idea who is the biggest scorer yet? I'm very curios to kno how far this scoring thing has gone, I myself only know about it for  a few weeks. Also , do you know when it started ?? This scoring system......
