I think I FINALLY figured this out. 

I had given up on downloading anything on BitComet so I uninstalled it.  About a year ago I had ventured for the first time into downloading from the internet and used utorrent.  I decided to use it again since I had had luck with it, although it was slow.  For some reason I found it easier to configure the firewall and listening port with utorrent than with BitComet.  To make a long story short I thought to myself if it worked with uTorrent, why not try it again with BitComet?  I did, and now I have green lights!  So, I'm back with BitComet and all is right with the world again. 

Quick update:

I've had to uninstall BitComet 1.0 because the downloads were so slow, barely any thing was complete.  I plan to download another version of BitComet thinking maybe another version might work better for me.  I know I have to tweak my router and stuff to get it downloading as quickly as possible but I just haven't had time to get it done, not to mention, it's freaking frustrating when it doesn't work.  I have looked at some of the pages that will help me with this but life just keeps getting in my way !  Imagine that!

Thanks to everyone visiting my page.  I've had fun looking at how other people have set up their blogs.  It's been facinating to say the least.......

Doesn't this look so much better?  Well, at least it's alot more colorful, if nothing else.  Slowly but surely I'm catching on to this blogging thing.  Actually, I have another blog on Blogger, but it's mostly about my favorite hobby which is knitting.  That's also coming along but I admit I don't post very often.  It's said that in order to form a habit you have to do it consistenly for at least 30 days, give or take.  If you saw my other blog, you'd know I haven't quite got that habit down.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone who's looked at my blog.  I know, it just so riveting you couldn't stay away (Ha!).  I'll eventually get with the program, literally and figuratively.

I don't have any pics of myself to show and right now the flowers are the best I can do. 

My downloads are very slow so I'll be trying to figure it out.  I tried it last night and I thought I had it but it didn't work out.  It didn't help that it was past 1 am and I was tired.  Eventually I said, " Enough, I've had it."  So off I went to sleep.

I'm really new to this whole torrent thing.  I'm not even sure what to write right now except I'm looking forward to downloading things that I'm really interested in.  I'm sure I'll end up updating this.
