Bless Her Little Newfie Heart

Little Melissa comes from Chance Cove Newfoundland and attends third grade.

After school she tells her father that they learned about the history of Valentine's Day.

"Since Valentine's Day is for a Christian saint, I was wondering if I gave a Valentine to someone who was not, will God get mad at me for giving them a valentine?"

Melissa's father thinks a bit, then says "No, I don't think God would get mad. Who do you want to give a Valentine to?"

"Osama Bin Laden," she says.

"Why Osama Bin Laden," her father asks in shock.

"Well," she says, "I thought that if a little Newfoundland Christian Girl could have enough love to give Osama a Valentine, he might start to think that maybe we're not all bad, and maybe start loving people a little bit. "And if other kids saw what I did and sent Valentines to Osama, he'd love everyone a lot.......

♠A young blonde was on vacation in the depths of Louisiana. She wanted a pair of genuine alligator shoes in the worst way, but was very reluctant to pay the high prices the local vendors were asking.

After becoming very frustrated with the "no haggle" attitude of one of the shopkeepers, the blonde shouted, "Maybe I'll just go out and catch my own alligator so I can get a pair of shoes at a reasonable price!" The shopkeeper said, "By all means, be my guest. Maybe you'll luck out and catch yourself a big one!" Determined, the blonde turned and headed for the swamps, set on catching herself an alligator.

Later in the day, the shopkeeper is driving home, when he spots the young woman standing waist deep in the water, shotgun in hand. Just then, he sees a huge 9 foot alligator swimming quickly toward her. She takes aim, kills the creature and with a great deal of effort hauls it on......

a brief question regarding my status level that the other day for sure my level was already 1 comet 1 star which is equivalent to lieutenant colonel.... now when I opened my PC I was demoted or brought back to as a RECRUIT. Can I still retain my status as Lt. Colonel..??? can any body help me...

I personally would like to thank this wonderful woman who took the time to care.

You are one of the most wonderful women that I know. Out of the kindness of your heart you jumped into action to help my mom. I know that it is all of the prayers that you have brought my mom that are making her better. I only wish that I could meet you in person so I could give you the biggest hug that you have ever had in your life. My mom is so lucky to have you as a friend.
