Over a month has passed since my last post and a lot has happened. Let me catch you up. My wife is finally home (our temporary home that is). I am glad she is home, and so is Faith. We are both looking for jobs now, but it shouldn't be much longer. She has already had several leads, and I have too. We just have to wait it out. On a fishier note, I have added a Chinese Algae Eater. He is pretty, but somewhat aggressive. He (I don't really know the sex so I say "He") seems to be territorial and has taken over the castle for the most part. Manny on the other hand has been extremely passive, almost to the point of him being injured by the Mollies. He has however, turned over a new leaf this week and now chases the Mollies on a regular basis. He still will not attack, but they run from him. The Mollies have managed to destroy almost all of the dwarf hair grass. It hasn't been spreading much in the tank. I think the reason is that I only have gravel, and no actual dirt for......
Sorry about the outburst at the end of the last post. I will try to control myself in the future. I have discovered that the mollies will nearly fight to the death for blood worms. All the fish seem to like blood worms more than any other food. The fry however, seem to have a little trouble chewing them and usually loose there meal to the bigger fish.
Above is a pretty good shot of the male molly and two fry. All the surviving fry are females. They appear to be mixed with a dalmation molly. In the picture you can see the silver mixed with black. Also there is some dwarf hair grass they are swimming around. I never bothered to pull it apart so it would spread......

The fish are doing great. So all my readers can relax. The babies are nearly an inch long already (that's 2.54 cm for the rest of the world). I have discovered snails after adding some dwarf grass. I don't mind but I hear the multipy rather quickly. I will keep an eye on them and keep you posted. So far I have confirmed 3 snails in the tank. I thought Manny would eat them, but I guess I would have to starve him for a few days before he would actually work for his food. I will post some pics of them all when i get a chance. The sails move much faster that I thought they would and have not been photogenic so far, but I will see what I can do. Oh and in case you were wondering The Venture Bros rule!
Well, there are definately 7 fry. I finished the swingset after the last post and now I am focused on the ranger. I think it needs a new oil pump. I will find out if I can ever get the oil pan off. Three more weeks until Laura gets back. The perhaps my life can egin to be normal again.
I've been putting together a swingset for Faith for days now. I hope I can finish tomorrow. I can only see 7 of the Fry now. Only time will tell the true number.
It rained again. It does that a lot. Three more have died, only 17 remain. When will the madness end? I took the fry out of the birthing net, and released them into the main tank. It is up to fate now.
Hello.
It rained today. The dogs barked, and the fish swam. 20 of the 21 Black Molly fry still live. Don't worry, I'll keep you posted.
