tcp listening port

hi im gettin a little annoyed with my download speed and it says that currently listening port is blocked and that i need to check the configurations for my firewall and the NAT router to get a faster download speed. any hints at how i do this would be appreciated. oh yea i have a D-link wireless router and cant find it on my comp.

im interested in anime movies and car movies, sports games and designing things.

im new to the world of torrenting and would apprieciate some help on how to make my internet go faster while downloading torrents.
