I wanted to show my grief, love and support to all those who lost their lives and to those they left behind.

I clearly remember people putting signs and flowers on a billboard as I walked down Broadway. They were signing the wall on the side of the street in hopes to find their loved ones. Posting notes on polls and messages for those who were missing to call home.

I was in New York City and walked down the street. I asked a by-stander to take a photo. I still can't believe that was seven years ago.

9/11 Photo taken just after September 11, 2001 near the Twin Towers.

I climbed Japan's highest mountain "Mt.Fuji" with shorts, boots, a t-shirt, a bottle of water and a Mars Bar. What was I thinking at first - but at the end it was no problem mostly because i became numb from the cold - until the sun rose early in the morning. We took the train to the mountain.

Mount Fuji (Fujisan) is 3776 meters - Japan's highest mountain. It is almost a perfectly shaped volcano and has been treated as a sacred mountain and is very popular for world travelers. People from all over world were there climbing Fuji-san.

We started at 6:30 pm from the fifth station and arrived at the top at 1:00 am an elevation of 3,776 metres (12,388 ft).

I also picked up a traditional souvenir - a climbing aid - a Japanese Mt Fuji walking stick and a Mt Fuji blue cap.

It was awesome and a peaceful journey seeing the breathtaking views and at the same time a dangerous experience standing on the edge of the cliffs; well worth the trip. "Your are wise to climb Fuji once and......

We gather in a circle, everyone is equal, no one is higher, no one is above another and no one is better than the other. Powwow means gathering, or celebration.

Where do I start and where do I end. I guess thats the point about a pow wow. There is no beginning and there is also no end. A spiritual journey never has either. Language as we know it, has no expression, catch phrase or saying to put this event in words. The best I can do is say wow. I was "wowed" by the " Pow Wow".

I was at the Largest Multi-Disciplined Aboriginal Arts Event in North America. This year’s theme was “AKWE-KON” which means “everyone”.......

And I say anyone can go to Cuba. Cause you gotta go see the coral reef, swim with dolphins- believe it I shook hands with the dolphins fin , underground caves and eat oysters on the beach ( i know what your thinking but at least try it ) and check out the exciting Cuban culture, music and tropical weather if you get a chance, you have to put Cuba on your top ten list. And don't worry about going, most Americans fly to Cuba via third countries -- Mexico, Canada and the Bahamas. I say come to Canada and fly into Cuba from here. Canada offers you the easiest and safest way to reach Cuba! Eh, Safe.

Today was a wild adventure visiting Canada's CN Tower. and I'm so excited, let me tell you a little bit about this day.....it was like walking in the sky, you can see airplanes fly by right beside you and you feel like you are King Kong escaping the city. Leaving the hustle of the traffic below and stepping out of the big city life in less than one minute. Its like you are Superman able to scale the tallest building in one bound.

In only 58 seconds, traveling up in the glass-fronted elevator you can see an unbelievable view as you race up at 22 kilometers (15 miles) per hour. Pressed up against the glass window your city gaze expands peripherally and opens up straight ahead in all directions in less than a minute. Expect line-ups at the front entrance. Ya, I was listening to Akon's mp3s on my ipod waiting 1 hour for the elevator up, but its well worth the wait. Thats right, you are one of approximately 2 million people who go up to Canada's CN tower every year; a symbol of pride and structural......

DAMIR In Space to Myspace: Blogging For Peace: NASAs PHOTOs and DAMIRs Independent Underground Music to Outer Space News: NASA Johnson Space Center, Houston Texas

The new frontier is that where we will be able to find peace or just another extension of war. What are we doing here on Earth, maybe we need to look in from the outside and see that common sense is not so common anymore.

A visit to The DMZ in North Korea: DAMIRs Underground News Report and Photos.

The Brief Summary: "I wanted to remind people that the division is not only two countries but the world. And visiting the DMZ; the view was spectacular, and a real sightseeing adventure, looking into the past, historically and hopefully looking into the future peacefully".
Category: Current Affairs: A visit to The DMZ in North Korea.

The DMZ (the demilitarized zone) above the 38th parallel between North Korea and South Korea. The DMZ stretches across the Korean Peninsula from East to West (155 miles).

Throughout the visit, we are constantly reminded not to take photos, and only at selected security stripped yellow line areas, photos are forbidden while in the tunnel. Heavy security is present.

The DMZ is a hot spot now cause of the CNN coverage of the present news on the North Korean nuclear threat, and US relations with North Korea's leaders. Surely the DMZ has historical significance......
