this is a red sunset in Tokushima prefecture in November.

we call a red sunset ' You-yake'.

'You' means the evening,and 'yake' means ' be on fire'.

evening sky is on fire.

everybody loves 'You-yake' in japan.

H&M Japan has opened at Sept.2008.

the most popular sightseeig place in Japan for foreigners is Kyoto.

lately Akihabara in Tokyo is also popular

as Otaku,maid-cafe,costume-play.etc.

but i love Osaka.

Osaka has a different culuture from another city.

and Osaka people are always chatty and mirthful like Italian(`;`)

sometimes they became the comedians.

they always have a punch line in their talks.

many street performers get together from all over japan.

From 8:00am to 9:00 in the morning,

Every station in Tokyo is overcrowded with commuters.

in Tokyo,you don't have to travel far to go shopping,dating,

because there are many subways.

but most of the people are living in the flat in bedroom town like Yokohama city,

they get on the train in the same time to go to their office in middle of Tokyo.

especially April and September is bad season because that is the new term starts.

high scool students,university students,office workers......it's like a football game.

evrybody is sweating......oh..I should say It's like a sweat bath!...

Not many Japanese are religious.

But most of Japanese trust in omen,superstitions.

and some of them always have talismans.

Last week, Ive found strange things glittering at shrine in downtown.

Wonderful big golden poop!!!

I guess that is money box works as a japanese talisman.

Have you ever heard about 'Ame-Yoko'?
that is an old market near Ueno station,tokyo.
'Ame' means American,and 'Yoko' means a side road.
(we call side-road 'Yoko-cho' in japanese).

This market was made in 1945, occupied japan.
and made by some repatriates from Manshuria.
They were selling some american surplus and foods for poor japanese people.

But In 1970s, Ame-Yoko became more popular as a import clothing market again.
some young japanese started to get fashionable USA,UK,french clothing

like Converse,Fred perry,Lacoste,,,etc.
