50 GREATEST RNB HITS
Size: Large, Medium, Small Sun Feb 10, 08 12:41 PM | Category: All
17

It took me a long time to finish this playlist, with a lot of research and revisions finally it's done at last. Here it is, my compilation of the greatest, most influential, most popular rnb songs from the year 1995-2007. I tried to limit it to rnb only however i cant ignore those songs that "crossed over" from hiphop (i.e 50 cents' "In the Club") and those rnb/hiphop collaborations that spawned a lot of hits (i.e. Jarule's "Always on Time"). I also had to limit three songs for those artists who constantly generate chart toppers (i.e. Mariah, Usher, Beyonce).

My Criteria is this:
1.) Is it a hit/popular?
2.) Did it influence other artists works in the succeeding years?
3.) Does it sound as good today as it did when it was released?

That's it, enjoy and id appreciate your comments very much.

I’m not really an R&B fan. But there is no argument “ill be missing you” and “boy is mine” belongs on top.

But I’m not sure about “hips don’t lie”...... I mean the original song is very good, but shakira destroyed it.

Try doing 50 greatest rock tracks........
