I was banned by isohunt today for in my opinion a very minor offence, i called another user via the shoutbox a "jerk" let me tell the story in its entirety.
I was on the msn news page as i often am, an article caught my eye entitled "pirate bay sold for 4.7 million" after reading the article i decide to let the p2p community know this through the isohunt shoutbox, however after posting this someone told me again via shoutbox to get my facts straight that piratebay was sold months ago for a much larger sum, whether i was right or wrong on the pirate bay subject is irrelevant as i was only reporting that days news on msn, so i told the user in question to quit being a jerk " which he was" then out of nowhere the moderator "trollster" decides to stick his oar in and tells me not to call anyone a jerk, i mean c'mon there are much MUCH worse things i could have called him, so half serious half jokingly i called trollster a jerk and bang banned.
I am not looking for sympathy or anything like that as i am a long time member of demoind in my opinion one of the best torrent sites, what does irk me is the decline in quality of isohunt over the months and the "qlique" nature of the members and moderators.
Dont get me wrong isohunt is a good site or at least was, and i know isohunt is a indexing site but the level of fakes spyware and or viruses is shocking, with demonoid i have never downloaded a fake a virus or any item of spyware.

and a final note the dailytelegraph.com reports piratebay sold for 4.7m but other sources report as high as 7.8m
