Generally, when BitComet first runs in your computer
with Windows XP system, you will be notified to set the firewall to
block or unblock BitComet, if you enable the system firewall. In this
case, you should set it as “unblock”. Or else, you need to change some
settings of the firewall according to this guide.
Click “Start”->”Settings”->”Control Panel”->”Windows Firewall”, make sure that “Don’t allow exceptions” is unselected whether the firewall is on or off.
