Care2 es una Asociación de Intereses en Común Fundada en 1998 con el Objetivo de de Buscar una Mejor calidad de Vida y un Medio Ambiente sano con la aparición de su sitio Web con el paso de los Años fue creciendo y tomando cada ves mas Importancia a nivel mundial, ya que asta la fecha se han registrado 10,312,231 members

en este Sitio Web se da la oportunidad de que la gente Formule sus propias Campañas de Protesta o de apoyo ya sea Ecologista, Político, o de Nivel Social. ya que tienen la oportunidad de  Promover una propuesta  para Juntar firmas ya sea a favor o en contra de  Cierto Suceso.
Los Miembros de la Comunidad podemos Firmar las peticiones con las que concordemos y expresar nuestra opinión personal  ya que cada carta viene con una Carta pre-escrita por el fundador de la petición , la cual es editable y podemos agregar nuestra propia opinión, todas esas firmas se envían en formato de e-mail   ya sea al congreso de USA por ejemplo o las Autoridades pertinentes sobre Lo que se promulga en la petición.
asta este Momento se han reunido mas de 32,548,967 petition signature

además en este sitio se reúnen fondos para apoyar la ecología y disminuir las emisiones de  bióxido de Carbono (para mas detalles entrar a care2)

además esta Pagina cuenta con Muchas funciones  muy entretenidas, por ejemplo eCards (tarjetas postales Animadas), Blogs personales, Cuentas de Correo electrónico ( @Care2.com) y muchas otras funciones interesantes.

I started Care2, back in 1998, to help make the world a better place.

The idea is simple: Make it easy for everyone to live a healthy, green lifestyle and impact the causes they care about most.

The seeds for Care2 were planted many years ago. I was 13 years old, traveling up the Amazon with my father in a thatch-covered boat. My father, an ornithologist, studied the birds, while I marveled at the rich wildlife, lush vegetation and fascinating people we encountered deep in the jungle.

What struck me most was the contrast between the remote tribes that lived in harmony with the rainforest, and the poverty, sickness and deforestation in the most "modernized" towns we visited. I realized the world was getting terribly out of balance.

From that truth, an overwhelming desire to make a difference was born. I realized that the power to make a positive change in the world was within each of us. But how do we harness that power?

The answer came in 1998. The Internet. Finally, the power to mobilize the world was at hand. I raised money from some kind and crazy souls, and then really lucked out in finding two extraordinary partners -- Matt McGlynn (now our chief technology officer) and Camilla Eriksson (now our vice president of eCards). In September 1998, we launched Care2 from my tiny apartment.

Care2 provides powerful tools to make a difference in your life, community, country and world. It's driven by passionate people (just like you) who want to restore the world's balance.

Care2 grew out of my apartment a long time ago. Today, more than 50 employees, 9 million members, 400 nonprofit partners and hundreds of responsible advertisers contribute to making powerful, positive changes in our world.
