" Plata Quemada " is the feature that is pleasing in full to the orchestra of a 9th MIX Brazil of the Sexual Diversity. The movie counts the true history of the robbers' pair Nene & Angel, acquaintances like "Gemini", lovers and delinquents that in 1965 escape of Argentina with a lump sum in cash and have to take refuge in the Uruguay together with the rest of the group.

 

 

      Nene & Angel are employed by a big shot to intercept a security van that was loading such a lump sum, but the theft in fact was a trick and the pair she is obliged killing to escape. Leaving from there the tension is created.

 

 

      The movie narrates the history in dizzy rhythm, managing to create the right climate of action, drama and eroticism, in an escalation of contained violence that explodes in the end.

 

      The passion of Nene & Angel is shown by force and dramatic loaded paints. Nene (interpreted by Leonardo Sbaraglia) is the cerebral side of the couple, cold and meticulous, but completely in love with Angel. Angel (Eduardo Noriel) on the other side is a frightened child. Religious fanatic, loads fault and hears voices that torment it and are prevented it from handing of body and soul to a lover.

      This cursed, passion red-hot and explosive, full of libido, is the way that will take two lovers to a dead end. Echoes of movies as " Bonnie and Clyde " (1967, of Arthur Penn) and " Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid " (1969, by George Roy Hill) accompany the movie, principally since bandit is treated as the narrative of a couple (in the first one interpreted by Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway; in the second, Paul Newman and Robert Redford - though in this last case, the evidences on the novel of two thieves are subtle).

 

 

      High points of the movie: the most beautiful photography, working hot tones suggesting the fire that is the principal element of the strip; the interpretation of the cast, all fortíssimos, with distinction for the couple Nene & Angel.

 

 

      Besides convincing, they are also they the most beautiful; and the direction of art, recreating with perfection the time of the history, besides pop of the period includes successes. " Plata Quemada ", with his devastating and tragic climate, pleased the orchestra of the MiX Brazil, being a strong contestant to the prize of Better long one of the Festival in the vote of the public. There were people who left crying of the room of projection. " Plata Quemada " burns the emotions of the public.
