Why I think every one hates Americans

Now your all probably thinking, is this guy barking mad or some thing. This is his second post bashing his own country, his own people. Well no I'm not mad, well.......not in that sence of the word. Most Americans go through life so bloody obliviouse that there are so many country's out there that hate us. And then theres the ones that are so freaking stuck up that they just can't imagine why any one would hate us, were so rich, we help help so many country's, were technilogicly advanced.Yet they don't relise that like 98% or our tech. is imported form other country's. Well, I have a pretty damn good idea on why were not so liked. First theres our government. They expect us to fallow the laws and so forth, then they go and break their own laws just to satisfy their own agendas and make their wallets even fatter. I mean come on, who in their right mind would pay $30,000 for a toilet seat. Ok, the toilet seat price might be stretching it, but you get the idea. Then they stick their big fat noses in places it doesn't belong. We do not belong in Irag. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Saddom was a terible leader, but if the people of Iraq no longer wanted him then it was their responceability to get rid of him. Now some of you might say, well they didn't enough people to stage a revolt, they didn't have enough guns, they...... they....... . Sorry, but I'm a firm believer in the frase, "Were theres a Will, Theres a Way".If you want some thing bad enough you find a way to get it. How many solders did we lose already? How about Great Brittan, how many fine young men and women did they lose because of Bush. The U.S gov. has yet to relise that there is a very thin line between helping and just down right interfering. Either that they just don care. Then theres the citizens. Most Americans have a Superiority complex. They think there better then every one else even there fellow citizens. You know the ones of which I speak of, the ones that have their noses so high in the air that they'll drown should it ever rain. Then theres the religious ones. I don't mean to step on any ones toes, but here people take religion just way way to seriosly. With all the different religions in this country, I'm surprised that we haven't had holey war. Oh waite a minute, Bush took care of that With Iraq. Then, theres the way most american treat other people, like complete and total dog shit. And every one can't understand why I don't go out and meet people, Why I can't find a good woman to save my life( last ex broke up with me because some one else pissed her off), or why I have trust issues. Oh yes, and my fav. , they don't understand why I have "Hate to live, Live to Hate" tattooed in Hebrew on my left fore arm. "Hate to live, Live to Hate" means that I hate what I have become and the people that have made me the way that I am. But Skandranon, you cant blame others, thats takeing the easy way out, you can't blame others for your actions. Well I'm not, I'm blameing them for their actions, blameing them for not being honest, for cheating on me, for useing me. I never asked for any of that. Thats another thing the vast majority of Americans lack, and thats MORALS, and VALUES. Nice guys finish last, I'm liveing proof of that. So if theres any thing I might have forgoten or left, please feel free to say so. And if theres any one that dissagree's with me, well, I'm 32 years old and lived here all my life. I also don't conform to conventinal thinking, so I notice almost every thing on how people are here. And I'm not surprised one bit onwhat heppens here.

Dude,

Bush is not all to blame for this crap,

You have a congress up there that allows or disallows whatever he does.

So blame those sicko's as well. All they care about is chasing skirts,

and ripping off the working man.

We haven't been attacked since 9/11. Be thankful for that and ask

God for his Blessings on the next President.

I see it this way " If you don't like your Country go live somewhere else"

Planes leave everyday to everywhere. Get a job and buy a ticket.

Though I agree with reader, congress does have a part in the making of the laws here. But the fastest way for that happen is for the president and congress to agree on the bill. Though either side can pass a bill with out the other to be in agreement. Also because of 9/11 Bush was granted the power to do as he pleases because we were in a sence at a state of war. One more thing , I never said I hated my country, I love this land, there in lies the key word "Land". Greed and corruption are every were. Beside Grandmother, will you give me a place to live, help me find a job in your country??? I have a better chance in seeing hell freeze over then that happening. And should you be from the states, you voted for Bush didn't you?

Our immigrations laws are pretty easy, fly on over here, if you can't find a job, you get a social security check of around 800 euro a month. That's enough to rent a home, have full medical insurrance, have internet and digital TV etc.

there is no place anymore for more people in the Netherlands,

Zendex Tue Sep 16, 08 04:13 AM

You need to realize that 75% of the things that you experience/encounter in your life is there because of your own choices. You can't change others, but you CAN change yourself. Really only 25% of what happens to you is really out of your hands, the rest is up to you. And I agree, I don't like America as a nation either, I live in the Netherlands and I think our politics are following the US too much. But I don't think I can do a damn thing about that. I can only take care of myself, try to help the people around me, but I can't change the world.

skandranon Tue Sep 16, 08 06:51 AM

Exactly. It's that 25% that I can do nothing about that I'm ranting and raving about. At current I DO have a job, I do fire wood, that's why on my profile it says "others". Like I said, I love this "Land", I just feel that the gov. has lost track and perspective of what our founding fathers wished for this country. I live in New England, and the fall here is beautiful. Then there's the the lovely state of George. Were the second you cross the state line into it, you can smell the fresh, non polluted air. I love this land, I love this country, I just have a problem with it's politics and the citizens that give us a bad name.

I hear you bro. I think you're allowed to bash your own country as long as you're from there, cause you see all the wrongs about it. But it's just sad that most people will call you "un-patriotic" for the reasons that they don't understand, and don't really want to get involved with politics or other, just so that they can live in thier "protected" world. I myself am South Korean, grew up in Hong Kong, an internation country, and yes, English IS my first language and Korean my second. I love my country, but not much of the inhabitants.

I know that America has lots of problems - it's portrayed as a nation that just gets itself into shit all the time with bad leadership. And you're right - the law only applies to the common man, yet all the "leaders" walk away with thier wallets fatter. Did you know that George Bush Sr was friends of Saddam? And that he was the one to provide all those "weapons of mass destruction" to Saddam in the 80's so that Saddam can fight all the "rebels"? There's a thought - even Aaron McGruder portrays it in his comic book series called Boondocks.

There's actually a law in the US stating that you (as the people) have the right to vote a president OUT? It's true. If you as the people have been lied to from the very leader that's supposed to carry your nation further, and wether it's personal lies or big ones (good example would be Bill Clinton and the scandal, and George Bush with the undercover operative leak). But the funny thing is that no-one's ever really enforced this law, and I wouldn't be surprised if the government is trying to keep it from the people. They want you to pursue the "American dream", but what they don't tell you is that every war that America gets involved with, they jack prices of fuel and everything else skyrockets, and that a group of people walk away fatter not only because of the price hike, but because of arms sales.

I know what you mean by America butting it's nose in other countries' matters. It saddens me that they try and "police" the world, but it's not thier job - it's the U.N.'s. Take Korea - all the soldiers fighting a war but for what? Do they even know? They say that they were trying to keep the peace, but was it really true? I for one think that it wasn't even thier war, but I can understand a bit as the northen Korea's dictator got Russia to help with them - and back then, America didn't want to lose to Russia. I know for a fact that all the soldiers that were in the Korean war called the natives "Gooks". Why? Cause in Korean, Korea is pronounced "Han Gook", so they decide to call them that. How demeaning is that? Then there's Vietnam. Of course I could go on and on, but I'll leave the wars to that. Ah the typical American attitude - knowitallism. Everyone has to be right. No matter what. I remember doing a case study in early 90's and guess what? It was the case where a guy broke into a house to steal, then the owners came back so he panicked and broke his leg by slipping on the rug. He was sentenced to time, but before going to jail, he was able to sue the owners of the house for the broken leg, and he won. Where's the justice in that? How can anybody justify that as justice being served? I mean come on - he wasn't even supposed to be there. On a different note, I remember learning Mandarin in Taiwan, and was teaching English (which was a lot more difficult for me as I look Asian) but I remember pointing to one of my American collegues' markings of his homework paper and gently pointed out that "beautiful" is spelt with only one "L" on the end. Then he lost it saying things like "I'm American!! I know how to fucking spell!!" Then my other collegues who were also American and was taking the languagae course with me pointed out that I was right. He lost it some more and we just walked away.

movieland852 Wed Sep 17, 08 02:02 AM

Of course I'm not saying all Americans are like that, and my friends asked me not to think that they are. But living in a international place like Hong Kong keeps me open to all races and all sorts of people. So it really comes down to whom. I know the likes of these post sites as well - people say all sorts of things they normally wouldn't dare say in someone's face. They hide behind the cyber, thinking that they'll be safe - which they are for now. Someday some psycho is going to take it far enough to track someone down and do something to them (of which I'm not going to write any other details as I don't want to be suggestive). But all in all, Americans like to blame others. "I got fat from eating mcdonalds so I'm going to sue them" "It's all the piracy from asia that bankrupts good American companies" - which I'm going to touch on. In my opinion, most Americans hate piracy, which is true. But when they're on holiday or business in Hong Kong, they all buy these "pirated" softwares. They even collect orders from thier friends and collegues. Even better, the "piraters" aren't all asians, look at the whole BT concept. All the people here who post movies, applications, games, music are mostly Americans. Asians just download these off the site just like anyone else. I think they're mostly jealous that Japan makes superior electronic gadgets than they do. I remember a friend who in 2002 had a cd player which took 4 AA batteries and lasted 2 or 3 days. I had a MD player, and with a single AAA battery, lasted 3 weeks. Of course if you're American, you'd be asking what the heck is a MD player? It's called mini disc, it's a wayyy smaller cd with a small plastic casing, puts like 6 hours of music on it and you can record or erase with a lot of ease. Of course this was before MP3 players.

movieland852 Wed Sep 17, 08 02:02 AM

Of course technology exists in the States, but the government bars it from getting out to public for about 6 years. I know this as fact because my friend who's pretty high in the American Consulate tells me that they (no he or she as I don't know if anything's going to happen to them) don't want to move back as in Hong Kong, technology comes out first, and comes out at cheap prices. That's why even Japanese tourists come to Hong Kong for shopping for thier own national gadgetry as it's cheaper than Japan. Ask anyone who's in the Army who've traveled here to buy digital cams and such.

I'm sorry if I ripped on America too much - but this is MY opinions and that's that. Of course all the Americans that live here are loud, obnoxious and always right. So I know that if I ever come back to this page, I'll see some "patriots" bitching at me but that's fine - I'm still safe... for now.. as I know some methods to hide my tracks.

HELLO EVERY ONE

WE THE PEOPLE ARE THE ONES WHO VOTE AND SELECT OUR PRESIDENTS. MY HEART GOES OUT TO ALL THE WOMEN AND CHILDREN AND PARENTS WHO SUFFER FOR THEIR LOVED ONES WHO ARE OUT THERE IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY FIGHTING A WAR THAT BY FAR IS NOT OURS, AS OF THIS DATE WE HAVE HAD OVER 4500 OF OUR FRIENDS SONS,DAUGHTERS, COUSINS, WHO HAVE DIED FOR OUR FREEDOM..WE HAVE FREEDOM HERE THE VERY FREEDOM THAT OUR LOVED ONES ARE FIGHTING FOR I KNOW A FEW PEOPLE THAT DIED ON 9/11 BECAUSE THEY LEFT OUT OF BOSTON MA, I LIVE IN NEW ENGLAND AND I AM AN AMERICAN CITIZEN AND PAY TAXES LIKE ALL THE REST OF THE COUNTRY. I HATE THIS WAR BECAUSE IT NOT OURS WE DID NOT HAVE TO GO IN, WE SHOULD HAVE WAITED. AFTER WHEN THEY WENT IN AND DIDN'T FIND THEY WEAPONS THAT THEY THOUGHT THEY HAD WE SHOULD OF LEFT BUT THEN THERE WERE OTHER THINGS THAT WERE NOT FOUND, I FEEL TERRIBLE FOR ALL THE PEOPLE WHO LOST SOME ONE OVER THIS WAR AND I PRAY TO GOD FOR THE REST TO RETURN HOME SAFE AND SOUND , LIFE IS GOING TO BE SO DIFFERENT FOR OUR TROOPS TO COME HOME AND START GETTING USED TO THINGS . THEY PROBABLE LEFT LITTLE BABIES AND ARE COMING HOME TO SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN. ALL THE BIRTHDAYS THAT DADDY WASN'T HOME FOR(OR MOMMY). ALL THE HOLIDAYS SPENT CRY FOR YOUR PARTNER. I HAVE A FEW MY NIECES AND NEIGHBORS THAT THEIR HUBBIES ARE NOT WITH THEM AND I THANK GOD FOR THEM, BECAUSE AS A FAMILY WE HELP THEM OUT FINANCIALLY AND SPIRITUALLY. WHEN THEY DO COME FOR A FEW DAYS ITS WORSE THE KNOWING THAT THEY HAVE TO LEAVE AGAIN IS HORRIBLE. ITS LIKE A BAD DREAM THAT WE CAN'T WAKE UP FROM . I LOVE AMERICA AND I LOVE LIVING HERE BUT IF WE DON'T CHOOSE THE RIGHT ONE WE WILL ALWAYS BE HATED BY FOREIGN COUNTRIES. SO EXERCISE YOUR VOTE

skandranon Thu Sep 18, 08 07:44 AM

Well said Wanda. I hope your friends and loved ones return to you safe and sound. And by the way every one, I may not support this war but I DO support our troops. Their only doing their job. Their doing what our gov. tells them to do.
