No Matter who runs the country, the objectives are choosen for a reason. The reason is not really none of my major concern, It is my responsibility!

That said, You want to whine over something, Whine over the fact that our vote counts very little anymore due to electorial colleges. Or that we have the best of every party represented by the two idiots running now.

Not good enough, consider this for a tear jerker: We import oil, from a country that earned millions in profits, and yet we pay for their repairs.

Still not good enough well then think of all the other wonderful things previous presidents done for us. Clinton passing the bill for NAFTA before leaving office, Reagan and the Contra, Nixon with watergate.

That said, I am proud to be an AMERICAN asshole who can sleep night's, Knowing that not only are their people on another side of fence who would love to be here.

Grab some kleenex, wipe away your tears, do something more useful, then wasting precious webspace.

Most of you posting here don't realize just how affected by "media oriented-democratic control" you are. it's not bush, it's not the republicans or the democrats, or who won because you voted whatever. take a step back, look at it as a big picture of how did we as a civilization get to this point of a dog and pony show. A good saying would be "keep it simple stupid, or simply stupid will you keep". we are being controlled by man (not some fairytale god, keep that shit out of this), like a round of sour dough we are slowly molded into slices of obedient and gullible pastries.

I did'nt even click the link buddy rom NL posted but I know right away it was zeitgiest. Great documentary btw, although be carefull about the banking portion of that movie it flexes words to a point where you can be tricked to the directors agenda (which is a whole-hearted agenda and honorable, but still tricked into it)

As for the original post question, why do Canadians hate America? heres a short list feel free to debate me by number. (some of these problems are'nt your fault entirely but you somply asked wy we hate you, not why we hate you with warrent)

1. Your like us only ruder, think your better, less educated and more violent.

2. You treat our trade as if you are the pilgrims and were the dumb-shit bushmen, only were not and we have no choice but to agree with that musket your holding.

3. your problems are our problems , only you don't care enough to riot.

4. Our country day by day turns more into exactly what america is, largely due to our american-ass-kissing-money sucking politicians.

5. You pollute to much.

6. your too religious, and seemed to have forgotten the rules by which your secularist branch from the british was formed for.

7. you killed a whole entire canadian platoon in the first 2 weeks of this "military engagement" because 2 jet pilots thought "they looked like sand-nikkas"

8. you've allways screwed us on trade and resources, two for you , one for us. (this point was so big i had to make it number 8 and 2)

9. lets see...um..your president is a pussy and a downright coward.

10. You brought "reality T.V. shows" to canada, it's like a putrid infection.

13. and my PERSONAL peeve is that on ALL of U.S. printed maps in schools (even universities) the U.S. measures by the ruler to be bigger in land size than canada, which it is not. not even close you bung wholes.

1 reason I absolute hate any fucking canadian? Yes speeled lower case, just to put a little less emphasive in to it, Is by a bitch named Jennifer Granholm, take her, send her ass back to the border, and keep here. She is not wanted her in U.S soil, let alone in a productive state, which she managed to completely fuck up.

hey so i added some comedy to a post, and mostly I was engaging more unto an "agree" of what you had said skandranon. I just wanted you to know The only reason i took time to post was because I read your original post. I was into what you wrote so much i took time to add...sorry if that was unclear. =(

Hi! I read your post and I must say I agreed with most things you put up.

Yet I have to add, that even if it may appear so, not everyone e.g. here in Old Europe hates the USA. I think it's difficult to sum up what most people here think of America.

It's not purely black, it's not white, it's something inbetween (If this makes sense...).

I for my part always try to understand the background and the motives of different people. Let's take Iraq.

Everyone was told that there were weapons of mass destruction hidden and that Saddam Hussein was a dictator, that needed to be removed. Here I agree with your phrase "Where's there a will, there's a way." It was not America's job to free the people of Iraq. And I think Saddam was even supported by some American high-ups earlier- now when he got too uncomfortable, one had to get rid of him.

But all this is not the fault of every American, no matter what the opinion of some people might be. The American Soldiers who fight in Iraq are not to blame. They are, as you said, too, just doing their job, and Heaven knows, it's a hard job. I am sad for every American killed, I am sad for every Iraqi killed, I am sad for every person who has died in that or any other war already. In truth we are all just pawns in a game of chess, that people are playing, who we can't reach.

And it's not only the US. It's that way- only in not such a big way- in Germany, too. They're sending soldiers to Afghanistan, even though 80 percent of the population is against sending soldiers ANYWHERE. (Sorry for the capitalised letters, I just had to make my point). And they're not saints concerning Iraq either. Someone told me, that the German Chancellor only could say no to sending German troops to Iraq, because there were already secret agents in the country, who provided technical information. Huh. So much for a neutral country.
