Sorry, I vaugely remember that the crack was tricky, but the program served me well while I used it. Look around for a different download, with an easier crack. Some people get overly complicated and confusing, while others are a piece of cake. There's a lot of Network Magic torrents, check The Pirate Bay, or Isohunt. I wish I could be more helpful, but I haven't had NM on my machine for close to a year. Beware of viruses, always check the comments first, you can save yourself some headaches. Good Luck! -Steve
