One sunny day a wizard in a good mood decided to take a walk in the nearest town where he met 4 people: a businessman, a scientist, a solder and a fool.
Our wizard had a really good mood and he decided to make these four people happy and to make one of their wish come true.
He approached them and asked: "What do you need for happiness?"
The businessman thought for a while and said: "If you can give me a big bag of money, I will be a very happy man, because if you have enough money, you can buy everything else."
The wizard gave him a big bag of money and the businessman seemed so happy that he forgot to thank the wizard.
After this the wizard turns to the solder and asks:
"And what do you want to feel happy?"
The solder didn't think for too long and said: "I wish to be a general riding a white nice horse and to become a hero. There isn't bigger happiness for a solder than to become a hero".
The wizard gave him the white horse and made him a general.
The solder mounted his horse and went to find his army, because what a general can do without an army?
The scientist looked at all this and said: "Well, money is nothing and fame is just a smoke. I have another wish: give me the wisest book ever where I can find knowledge of everything in the world and that can give me the answer to every my question and to each riddle in the world. "
The scientist took the book and couldn't wait to go faster home and start reading.
Here came the turn for the fool's wish. He rubbed his nose and said:
"I want a magic flute that as soon as I bring to the lips it will play a nice melody that can brighten my life and this is enough for me".
Gave the wizard the pan flute to the fool and went home satisfied of his deeds.
A year past as an hour...
One day the wizard remembered about that four people and decided to check if they became really happy in their lives.
The first was the businessman. The wizard didn't recognize him at beginning. His face was dark and he was extremely slim. He was siting on his bag of money and was afraid to leave it for a while in case somebody will steal it.
"Are you happy, my friend?" asked the wizard. "How can I be happy if I was a such fool and asked only a bag of money when I could have two or may be three or four bags?"
Wizard left him with a sight.
He was looking to find the solder and was shown the way to a nice monument of a fallen hero. It was engraved with the gold, lots of flowers around, but there was nobody to ask if the solder was happy or not?
With a new sight the wizard went to find the scientist.
Here he is in front of his house opening the door. But what it is? A terrible smell in the house, rooms not cleaned for an year. But our scientist didn't care. He was too busy reading page after page. The wizard tried to speak with him, but he didn't get any attention.
The wizard left his house and was walking on street sad and depressed. He didn't make people happy and he wanted it so much! May be there are not happy people in the world at all?
And suddenly he heard a nice melody. He turned to that direction and saw our fool who was walking on the street and playing a nice melody. His clothes were old and his shoes were worn, but he didn't care at all. He was HAPPY...
He saw the wizard and started to thank him for the beautiful gift that he gave him. At last the wizard felt that he did some good thing and became happier himself. But after a short time he fell in very deep thoughts. But story doesn't tell us what he was thinking about...

I was thinking that I might ask the wizard about a book. May be not so big as that one, but still..
