The European Commission asked for explanations on Apple's iPhone explosives and if any country declares that the product is dangerous, the agency could ask for its withdrawal "regardless of the offeree company or its reputation."
The problems in France, Britain and Germany with the Apple phone from overheating problems, became a headache for the firm's Cupertino, after the European Commission (EC) took the decision to analyze the situation and initiate appropriate action.
Last month the EU executive spokesman had dismissed speculation that the Commission would request the recall of the iPhone, but Meglena Kuneva, European Commissioner for consumer affairs, now says that "If one of the countries concerned declares that these products are dangerous I will ask its withdrawal from sale. "
However, Kuneva said in recent weeks there were no further incidents with the iPhone and explosion cases were not numerous. "Before taking a drastic measure must be one hundred percent sure of how dangerous the device.
