"Family Guy" devotes a chapter to Windows 7

Microsoft is pursuing every means at its disposal to promote its forthcoming operating system, and just rely on the popular anime series to advertise Windows 7, the platform that wants to amend the failure of Windows Vista.
The Redmond company has signed a deal with Fox to advertise its new operating system through the animated television series "Family Guy", so that the November 8, instead of the usual commercial breaks, the Windows 7 episode will feature as protagonist, in an integrated way in the TV series.
"We are excited about having joined Windows 7 and contribute to your advertising campaign which now meets the unique talents of Seth McFarlane. And returned to the old Hollywood tradition of sponsoring programs, "said Jean Rossi, manager of Fox
As for the chapter in question, that as a good special will include musical numbers and guest artists, advanced chain labeled "Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show," referring to MacFarlane and Bornstein, who put a voice to parents in this funny cartoon family.
According to Gayle Troberman, general manager of Microsoft's advertising department, this is a unique opportunity to attract a broad spectrum of audiences. "This campaign represents a great opportunity for us to integrate the brand in a fresh and interesting," said the executive in Los Angeles Times.
