hi everyone
anyway i just remember how i used to tell new users how i would help them in making their blog more colorful and attractive, and since then i was tryin to make a post explainin it step by step, and here it goes:
first u click on the Custom style which is located on top right corner
then a box like like above will appear,and after u finish every column u must click saveto save ur blog, and now ill tell u what each one means:
1st column {HEAD}:
a- title: this changes the colour of the title
b- Intro: changes the colout of intro
c- background: choose a picture of not the background of the blog but the top centered one where SPALDING image is for me.
d- repeat-x: repeat the pic along X axis
e- repeat-y: repeat the pic alnog Y axis
f- no repeat: shows the pic only once on top left corner
g- repeat: repeat along both axis
h- the second box near the repeat box lets u choose the position of the picture to be shown and i dont believe i have to explain to you what does each one means.
2nd column {navigation}
WEll
for the background thing i did nt get it 
bcz it did not work for me somehow 
but the link box u choose the colour of the words in the line which are: my home, my controls....stickers, more
3rd column {Page}
a- background: u choose the colour of the background of the blog and if u want u can put a picture on the background and if there is any empty space (that is there is no picture in that space) then the colour u chose will fill it up. and for the repeating box it is same as i had said before for the head column. but if u dont want the picture to be repeated u can choose the place where u want the pic to be and also even if u want to repeat it the first picture will start form the place u chose, (for example, u chose the position of the picture to be left bottom and repeat, then the picture will be repeated only from the lower part of the blog and horizontally, and the upper part will be totally hollow)and at last the third box:
i-scroll: the picture will be repeated as u scroll down the blog, in other words it is like when u choose a small picture for ur desktop background and instead of expanding the whole picture then u choose tile and the picture will be repeated many times until it fills ur desktop, and for ur blog the same thing happens until it fills up ur blog, and if u dun get it th
ii-fixed: the picture will be repeated only on the upper part of ur blog and if u scroll down the blog the picture seem to stay still, if u dun get it, then look at ma blog and try scrollin down and u will get wat i mean.
b- text: choose the colour of the text, that is the colour of comments, guestbooks, post contents, etc
c -link: choose the colour of the links in ur blog, that is any to someones blog or someones post, etc
d- post title: choose the colour of the post title
e- post time: choose the colour of the time u posted the post
