Don't you sometimes say that you were going to do something, but you soon forget when something more interesting turns up. Say your uncle asked you to help paint the house one day, but then you forget because your friends wanted you to go to beach. then your uncle would loss trust in you beacuase of you forgetting to help him. Going thorugh life by saying you will do it, is a lie, you know you won't do it, because you really don't care. you have to really give it your all to get what you want, and not just say it but really do it. So you can say later on that, i was able to do that, instead of i wish i had done that.
